Mine Kafon by Massoud Hassani

Hassani, a product designer from Afganistan, build (by hand) a wind-powered device that trips land mines as it rolls across the ground. It is made using bamboo and biodegradable products.

Many of these mines are active and near populated areas in countries like Afganistan and are hard to remove. The UN says that one mine clearance specialist is killed, and two injured, for every 5,000 mines cleared.

Hassani’s cheap and easy to make method has been achieving great results.

In a world of overcomplicated solutions, we need more people who think “Wait, why don’t we just roll a giant freaking ball over it?”

this guy made a katamari for landmines

Ok guys, Naga is ready!
Or just Naga using Combat Camo, is doesn`t really matter.

This is the first CC marker for my ASA. The actual mini coming soon, it`s almost ready.

P.S. Can`t wait to play MGS on PC.

Thats an awesome idea for a camo marker

The redesigned Maghariba Guard TAG is wonderful. I am loving a lot of the model redesigns for Haqqislam.
Lost some of the Ghost in the Shell theme of the original but it looks a less clunky. I need to own both versions.

it’s actually way too common where painters almost drink their paint water

Or actually full out drink it

Or rinse the brush in your drink

Or do what I do: use a clear glass or clear plastic cup instead of a tea cup.

I use an old glass milk container, and still confuse it with my coke more often than not.

none of that was expected.

I have seen this at least five times and every time the ending takes me by surprise

I remember the days when games were about worlds you could explore and about being good, and not about who's got representation and gender this and sexuality that. I miss those days.

Those days miss you, too. I recently found a yellowed letter under one of the floorboards, and it was addressed to you and signed by those days with a tear-stained kiss of lipstick.

Meanwhile, in the present, those of us who work in the industry and who are—amazingly—able to consider more than one idea at the same time, will continue to create good games about worlds you can explore AND occasionally talk about inclusivity.

If you are feeling compassion fatigue, I think it might be okay to sit out those discussions, at least until you get your strength back. While it will be tough not having you available for close consultation, somehow we will soldier on.

Never had I read such a thorough and politely phrased burn.

what really sucks is when you know you should be doing something but physically cannot bring yourself to do it no matter how important doing that thing is
